Apparently, it's a mistake to eat lo mein after such a long lo mein hiatus.  We ordered Chinese food at work last night and I was all like, "Dang, I want me some shrimpy lo mein, that sounds 'bout tasty!"  It smelled so good.  I was so hungry, and I tore into that lo mein like it was the Chinese New Year.  Little did I know what tortuous horrors the lo mein would exact upon my frail human fleshy body.  
I was in the middle of relaxing about 30 minutes later, taking a much needed brain-break after dealing with so many customers in such a small amount of time, when it happened.  The room pitched forward and I had to grab the counter just to keep from falling on the floor(I just want to state that, at this point in writing this story, I really wanted to do a "Tom" and go off on some could-be-real-in-another-universe account of an alien attack.  I might still do that.).  I was hit by the worst case of dizziness and subsequent naseau that I've experienced since I was 9 and the brown recluse (the spider, not an Indian hermit) tried to kill me.  
I ran to the bathroom and vomited so violently that the blood vessels in and around my eyes literally burst.  Despite the obvious assumption that I would be allowed to go home after such a terrible bout of sickness, I had to stay until after closing because there were only two of us there last night.

I feel much better this morning.  I'm still a little woozy, and I look like a beaten trailer park wife, but I've been able to hold down a whole buncha saltines and a bowl of chex.
